Public art should create a sense of ownership in the viewer. Just as the art in your home helps to make that place meaningful to you, public art can inspire investment in your community. It can help to define “your neighbourhood” and “your city”. Art can lift up a community and energize the spirit of the individuals within it.
This connection helps people to identify with each other and helps facilitate community growth. Public art should create a sense of ownership in the viewer. When we lift up those around us, we ourselves cannot help but be lifted up as well.
Potential represents the heights we can achieve when we have the support of others. It’s about strengthening families and building vibrant and inclusive communities by ensuring that every individual is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
This hand-forged iron sculpture is 13 feet high, 3 feet wide and 1-1/2 feet deep. The entire sculpture is galvanized for durability and weather resistance and finished in a natural steel patina.
This sculpture has a substantial visual impact whether viewed at ground level or from above. At the same time, its footprint is minimal and easily accommodates almost any landscaping plan.
