"Moon Woman" is a bronze casting from an original, large stone carving. The patina is of silver with bronze coming through with subtle white marbling. Sitting on a deep marbled red bronze base. In this way I aim to pay tribute to the original smooth and shining forms of the stone carving while being true to the luminous quality of bronze.

This is a bronze from the original Colorado Alabaster carving. Retaining all of the unique textures and characteristics of stone. The polished and gloss of the patina meant to reflect the high polish of the original carving - yet with a coppery red and green patina that is true to the luminous material of bronze. Stone translated to metal.
