Sculpture 1 : Ronnie
Media: Steel
Dimensions: 58 x 24 x 24 inches
$7500
I call this piece Ronnie. Like all of my work, it is based on my own observations of a real person that I encountered. I love the challenge of capturing a personality with simple lines.
Although based on a real person, I don’t know Ronnie’s story. I do know that he is both simple and deep, approachable and endlessly interesting. That is what I am trying to capture in my sculpture. As people are drawn into the simple wire lines of this piece, I hope to spark a desire to learn more about someone unfamiliar. Maybe it’s a neighbor, a coworker, or even a family member. Everyone has a story to tell and something to teach us if we slow down and take the time to listen.
Sculpture 2 : Cash
Media: Steel
Dimensions: 67 x 24 x 67 inches
$8000
This is Cash. To me, no animal better embodies the spirit of the West than the horse—freedom, strength, grace, and beauty. Through simple lines, I aim to capture that essence in a way that’s both approachable and endlessly engaging, reminding us of the natural beauty that surrounds us.
